Letter from the New Pres!

Here it is already July and looking toward the 4th of July weekend. As everyone is aware, (I hope) July’s meeting has been pushed back a week due to the holiday weekend. The meeting will be on July 9th instead. I hope that everyone will have a safe and enjoyable holiday and will be at the meeting with all of their digits safe from the fireworks. For those that don’t have anything planned the Golden Super Cruise will be on July 3rd. Thanks to all that have come out and enjoyed not only each other’s company but the photo shoots that we have been doing. With all of the photo’s that we have it should give the club ample choices if we do a calendar for next year. Yet while these have been a blast to participate in we also need to see to it that we also try to include some good family things to do like go bowling or take the car’s to the drive in. Just another way to have fun for everyone.

Things are going well so far for the upcoming car show at Southglenn. Just some last minute details to tend to but I think that we can have the opportunity for a really good show this year and hopefully not have to turn people away like we’ve done the last couple of years.

While it is our Independence day and we are busy having picnics or trying to figure out how to make your own anti personnel devices that make you go Oooohhhh and Aaahhhh, please make sure to take a moment and give thanks to all of the men and women who have selflessly given of themselves through the years to assure that we all get to enjoy our freedoms from day to day. Because just remember that here we can have Car Shows any time we want but in Soviet Russia Car Shows have you!!
